What is Switch Challenge?

Switch Challenge is a comprehensive, browser-based cognitive exercise: work out which operator turned the input row into the output row. It trains cognitive flexibility, working memory, rule inference, and mirrors the format used in real placement assessments, so the pacing you practise against is the pacing you will face.

A session runs about 3-5 min. Nothing to download or install — it runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, with unlimited practice for Pro members.

Why practise Switch Challenge?

  • Matches the Switch Challenge format used in real assessment rounds
  • Unlimited drills & exam simulation with Blync Pro
  • Timed sessions that reproduce actual test pressure
  • Instant scoring and a leaderboard placement after every run
  • Trains cognitive flexibility and working memory directly

Switch Challenge — frequently asked questions

What is the Switch Challenge in the Capgemini assessment?

You are shown an input row of symbols and an output row. One or two hidden operators rearranged the input. You pick the operator that produced the output. Later levels stack two operators and widen the row from four symbols to five.

How long is the Switch Challenge round?

Roughly three minutes in total, with about 20 seconds per question. Our practice session uses the same budget so the pacing matches the real round.

How do I get faster at Switch Challenge questions?

Read the operator as a mapping, not a number: '3241' means the first output slot takes the third input symbol. Check one position rather than rebuilding the whole row, and you can eliminate most options in a single glance.
